How long does it have to take till someone can figure out why Im still having neck pain after a car wreck ??
I was in a car wreck 7 months ago. i was the passenger in the front seat and someone pulled out in front of us. We tried to stop but ended up hitting the side of there car. ive been to an orthopedic who put me through physical therapy 3 months and now ive started continuing chiropractic care for 4 months now. They have done an MRI and x-rays but everything comes back normal. in my mind i can pinpoint the exact location of where my neck hurts but its hard to explain it to the specialists. ive gone to 2 diff. doctors. 2 diff. chiropractors and 1 therapy doctor. Im running out of options and still in pain. Is there really something wrong with me or what?! i just need someone elses view of what i should do and why the doctors arent finding somethin. am i doing something wrong?

No…do not wear a cervical collar…that’s the worst thing you can do for yourself.
If you pain is local at the center of the spine and your MRIs are clear, you must rest assured that you WILL recover from this. If you worry that it will go on forever, it WILL. Ligaments take a long time to heal due to the poor blood supply.
Posture correction and regular movement should take care of the problem. I cannot emphasize the importance of posture enough.
