Ball park figure to get an engine rebuilt?
My car has been using oil like crazy. Last night on a 400 mile trip, it ran out, and the car quit. I added oil immediately, but it won’t run, and was smoking a lot. The car is a 99 Dodge Neon, 4-cylinder, has 117000 miles. Anyone have any idea what I’d be looking at dollar-wise to get it fixed, and am I better off junking it and getting another car?
don’t rebuild the engine …replace with a junkyard one or buy a short or long block from autozone… 2500 installed is about right
