What causes a groin pull injury to catchers in baseball?
I’m doing a report on muscle injuries for my massage therapy class. My report has to be specific to the catcher’s position in baseball and how their groin pull injuries occur. Also, if there are any experience massage therapists, any information on modalities and stretches you have suggested to clients would be nice. If anyone has pictures relevant to the topic that would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you all for your time.
it has something to do with the position. i used to move pianos, and I had the same injury from doing a squat lift on a nine foot grand. any stretches should be done in the sitting position to avoid creating further complications. just given time and sitz bathing in epsom salts usually fixes the soreness in a few days. be gentle with the stretching.
