I recently had professional, non sexual massage therapy. Therapist popped a pimple (!). Am I at risk?
OK I know that sounds gross. It was on my back, I felt her squeeze it and asked what she had done. She said that there was a pimple there and she couldn’t just leave it… and showed me where she had wiped the result off on the massage table’s cover (puss with a tiny bit of blood).
I’m guessing that she saw it and wanted to protect herself?? Now, I’m wondering… if she had HIV or something, could there by any risk? I have absolutely no risk factors in my life and don’t like that someone else touched an open spot on my skin.
Unless she had HIV-infected blood on her hands, you should be fine.
