Ideas for a future career involving helping people.?
I have always been a caring person. I like to help people and am concerned about people. I am 16 and starting to think about college and my profession. I and scared of needles but i would be interested in doing something like physical therapy, chiropractic or kinesiology. However, what other professions are out there that have to do with helping people? i am really love the show extreme makeover home edition. I like how they help those families . Please i need some help with career ideas.

If you look at the demographics of the population (baby boomers age 48=67 are the largest segment of the population) you would see that JOBS in demand would be anything that revolves around providing care to the elderly (as the elderly population is growing and will continue to do so rapidly in a few years for a couple decades) ……such as some sort of AIDE …..especially physical therapist (where you can also make a good life for yourself $)
I work as a Personal trainer at a private club where alot of old people work out and i can tell you the physical therapist and his/ assistants are Constantly booked and their Insurance covers the training for a couple months…. (this is in S FL) and they make around 75-80/hr
