Where do the meridians in Traditional Chinese medicine meet?
I hear that they meet all at the top of the head and that by massaging your scalp, you can stimulate the meridians. Is this true? Is there anywhere else that they meet?
The 6 Yang meridians begin or end at various spots on the head. One of the meeting points of the Six Yang is at DU20, or GV20. Massaging the scalp can therefor stimulate the meridians of the Yang.
The 6 Yin meridians do not directly travel to or from the head. By stimulating the Yang we can influence the Yin and vice-versa.
