Sculpting material that’s flexible and rubber-like, easily moldable, dries, but still holds flexibility?
Hello, I’m making a puppet like those in Corpse Bride, and I know they use molds and inject latex-foam into the molds to make them. But I’m looking for a product that I could use to build right onto the rigging system, something like a clay or putty, and is like rubber. Able to dry, and still hold it’s flexible parts so the puppet can move it’s arms and legs freely. Is there such a product? Please let me know and help me out here. 
I can do heating with boiling water and other things, but I’m no professional and this is work for someone who’s doing this for the first time. I need some assistance please!
Wax of the appropriate hardness might suffice it’s infinitely sculpt-able and repairable or a fabric and liquid latex composite over a wire frame for the ultimate flexibility a combination of the two should solve it.
