is it worth it to sign a contract to do massage therapy on a cruise ship?
if it is, should i start with just 3 months or go for 6? do they treat the therapists ok?
It is slave labour to work on a cruise liner, you will be working flat out, and with no choice on who you work on.
You have to think of the long term effects on your hands, working like that will shorten your “working life” as a massage therapist right down,
( health spa`s are very similar)
Far better to work in a salon with other professionals, or open your own, then you can earn enough to take a cruise yourself, (and try a massage) then you can ask the therapist what the conditions are really like.
