Is it okay to wear a skirt when you’re on an airplane?
I’ll be traveling in three weeks to a business conference and I’m planning my outfit.
It has to be office casual, which means no jeans, t-shirts, shorts, flip flops, etc.
I’m thinking of wearing a white cotton v-neck top with a black knee-length skirt, tights, and comfy black shoes.
Is wearing this appropriate for air travel?
The reason why I ask is because most of the advice I’ve read usually asks female travelers to wear jeans or trousers.
So, please, no sarcasm.
The outfit you describe is fine. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Today women wear what they feel emotionally and physically comfortable with.
As long as you are respectful in what you wear, not walking around or flying half naked, this is your right Do not let anyone make you feel bad.
Some women insist that everyone dress their way. Then you are not being true to yourself.
I live in a senior residence. There are many sweet little old ladies here in their polyester pants outfits. I hate polyester anything, but God bless them. They are happy, why should I care what they wear??. They don’t tell me what to wear, and I sure as heck, even if they asked what I thought, would never say don’t wear that.. I hate lying, but there are ways to phrase an answer without lying or hurting someone’s feelings. There is a lot of that on Yahoo Answers.
