Will I be able to get a visable tattoo with this kind of job?
Im going to school to be a massage therapist. I have 3 tattoos(WITH MEANING) and i plan on getting many many more. I want to get a tattoo of a snake wrapped around my wrist going on to my hand(the top part) so like if im out looking for a job (in the massage therapy business) like a spa or a fitness center..you think they’ll hire me with a visable tat?
It really depends on what kind of place it is. If it’s a spa/getaway resort type of place, then it would probably be best not to have many visible tats. A couple turtles here and there is fine, but anything inappropriate will make a bad impression. The more up-scale the place is, the less likely they’ll be accepting of a tattoo. Most customers at higher-end spas don’t really put up well with that kind of thing.A workout place/gymnasium would be much more lenient. As long as it won’t scare little kids or anything, a gym would basically look past a full set of tattoos if you’re qualified, have a good resume, and seem like a nice fit for the job. If you want the ink that badly, I’d suggest having them placed strategically and in harmless prints. Good luck with job hunting!
