Does Medicaid support paying for physical therapy?
I’m on disability and medicaid with that and I have scoliosis and a lot of back pain but I can’t really afford a chiropractor. So, does anyone know if medicaid would support for physical therapy instead?
It depends on your state. Usually yes, or at least yes but with some limitations (might only be 6 visits). However, it will be challenging to find a clinic who accepts it. A larger not for profit or a county hospital is your best bet.
