What mac book would be best for college?
I am going in to a Physical therapy/ kinesiology major, and plan to get a mac book pro. I just am unsure which size to go for, the 13 in or 15 in. I plan on using it from writing papers and getting research to facebook and stuff like that. Which would be better for me?
Which one is more comfortable for you to use? Paper-writing is a several-hours-long ordeal; you’re going to want to have a laptop that’s comfortable to use for long periods of time. My laptop is 13” or so, I find it comfortable but I like to curl up when I write, as opposed to spread out. Get yourself to an Apple store and try out the 15- and 13-inch Macbook Pros to see which is more comfortable. The 13” weighs 4.5 lbs, and the 15” weighs 5.6 lbs. You may want to take that into account, too; a five-pound laptop isn’t much on its own, but neither is a 5-pound textbook. If you’re carrying your laptop, 2 textbooks, and…let’s say a pound of miscellaneous other stuff, that’s 16 pounds to lug around.
