Gordon Weiss, from the ICRC had a similar item on his computer several months back that he said he had written as an unconfirmed appeal for aide, but had not released. That also ended up at a UN desk and was passed around as fact. Mr. Weiss, soon after the “release” and prior to tracking origination, had left island and it took months to straighten it out. There is another instance of this week where a letter was supposedly written to parishoners by a religious leader and that religious leader is stating that he never wrote such a letter.
