what do I need to do to start my own mobile business in beauty therapy.?
I have completed a certificate 4 in beauty therapy been working for 3 years. I wasn’t to start a mobile business. however i am unsure of my obligations, insurances, legal requirments etc. can anyone give me advice on what my steps are to get the ball rolling.
You need to check with an insurer to get a policy that covers you for a mobile beauty business. Your local business link office will point you in the right direction re obligations in book keeping, choice of accountant and VAT threshold.
A big big obstacle will be forming your client base and getting known, usually by word of mouth, it may take some time to grow your business and you should be prepared for lean times. Talk to your bank and work out your costs and estimated takings over the next 36 months….
