Where is the Lazyboy factory in the USA?
What do you think of the reclining sofa’s and the massage recliners by lazyboy? And what do you think of lazy boy furniture compared to other name brands in general?
I bought a Lazyboy set (couch and love seat) because I *thought* it was supposed to be higher quality furniture. Boy, was I wrong! We had nothing but trouble with it, starting with having to send the couch back because of improper padding in the cushions (when you sat on it, you could feel the wood frame on the front edge!) We had to repair both sets multiple time due to poor factory assembly; cracked frame pieces, loose hareware that fell out, an arm that almost came off due to a piece of cheap wood that craked. We recently took apart part of the sofa because the back of one of the recliner sections wouldn’t stay up. Found where they cracked the wood frame inserting screw improperly, so just put the screw back in at an angle and left the cracked piece. Found sections that were supposed to be glued toether but only had a couple messy splots of glue and were misaligned. We were frankly, appalled. I would never recommend Lazyboy to anyone. We have replaced the pieces and gone back to Flex Steel, which I had before Lazyboy and was very happy with. Gosh, I guess this became a rant!
