
days off from the gym?
i work out every day for like 2 hours a day at the gym. usually i do about 50-60 mins of cardio and the rest is abs, arms, and legs. i took yesterday off becasue my legs are sore from physical therapy workouts, and i was really tired. today i have no energy, my legs are still really sore, and i feel like i am getting sick( stuffy/runny nose, sore thoarat, cough) should i take today off from the gym, or is two days off in a row too much? will taking another day off caues weight gain or loss of fitness?
Even if you took a week off due to illness, you will be fine. If you push yourself and go to the gym sick you will just stay sick longer. Give your body the rest it needs and then get back into your gym routine. My boyfriend is a personal trainer, trust me your body won’t gain weight in a day or lose it’s fitness level. So do yourself a favor and rest until you feel better.
