What are the requirements to practice as a physical therapy assistant?
I have a general associates degree, and am hoping to pursue a degree in Child and Family studies. I am hoping to work as a physical therapy assistant – if I complete the necessary coursework, and pass the state licensing test – do I have to havethe associates in Physical Therapy as well to practice?
In order to practice as a PTA, you need an AAS in PTA. In most states you need to pass a licencsing exam.
