
is this to much excercise?
im a 16 year old female, 5ft 8 125 pounds but i do a lot of excercise and wondering if its to much, because my mum thinks im pushing myself to hard.
So
Monday: school, a hour run (approx 7kms uphill) then 1 hour of pilates
Tuesday: school, then soccer training for 1hr and a half.
Wednesday: school, then gym for 2 hours, i do the fitball class then x-train class
Thursday: school, then hip hop dance for 2 1/2 hours.
Friday: school then sometimes work
Saturday: 1 hr in the gym, doing cardio, abs and using machines. Then 1 hour yoga. Then lunch, then hip hop dance for 2 1/2 hours. Then relax with friends or go out
Sunday: relax in the morning (soon to start surf rowing with mates) then soccer for 90 minutes.
So yeah im really busy, but i still have a social life, i love playing sports and going to the gym with friends, but my mum thinks this is way to much. Am i gonna run my body down to much??
You are not pushing yourself too hard.
Your just 16 years old and have lots of energy and a gym membership and sports team obligations.
The deciding factor to me would be, do you do these things because you enjoy them? It sounds like you do. If so you are not pushing too hard.
If you are forcing yourself to go to these classes because you are scared of getting fat or similar reasons, ten you may be pushing yourself too hard.
