Am i considered a “love rat”?
Here’s the deal: my girlfriend is 6 months pregnant – it was accidental – but I have stood by her through all the time..I have paid for everything, hospital visits , scans, medicine, everything that the baby will need when he finally arrives, all her clothing, beauty salon trips, i even got married to her in a ceremony (no papers signed as in her country this was enough to satisfy her family), which meant I paid for all the wedding, rings, photos, dresses etc etc, rushed her to hospital any time there was a problem…I have provided continual emotional and physical support,love, hugs , massages etc etc i have been there for her and put up with her mood swings, ingratitude and demands , frankly emotionally and financially i am now depleted so i have told her its over…does this make me a bad person? I just cant envisage life without my son but i can’t envisage spending my life with her either….
You made a baby with this woman. You have to take responsibility for that for the next 18 years. If you didn’t want to be with her forever, you shouldn’t have been having sex with her in the first place. Furthermore, you have led her on to think that you love her for months and months now. Your responsibilty doesn’t end with the birth of your son. In fact, it is just beginning. Man up and take care of your family. Make it work.
