How to Get On an Inversion Table.?
Inversion tables are a versatile type of fitness equipment that are used
Inversion tables are a versatile type of fitness equipment that are used to elongate the spine and increase flexibility. Inversion tables can also be used to perform a variety of exercises, helping to strengthen the muscles of the entire body. If you are a bit apprehensive about climbing onto an inversion table, a few tips can help get you started.
Make sure that your inversion table is properly set up according to the manufacturer’s instructions before getting on. Your inversion table will have a long metal rod extending from the body support to the foot support. Make sure that you have adjusted the metal rod for your height and weight and that the latch or screw is locked into place.
2
Decide how far you would like to invert on your table, pulling the table down with your hand into position and then adjust the safety belt so that the table can only invert that far. Not only will the safety belt help to protect you from injury, it will ensure that you feel safe and secure when getting on.
3
Straddle the metal rod with your back to the body support and reach down to the foot support. Release the spring-loaded clip and step your feet under the ankle supports. Close the spring-loaded clip, making sure the support is pressed firmly against your ankles.
4
Lean back gently, lifting your hands slowly overhead. Make sure that you do not make a sharp backward movement, as you want to turn gracefully. You can use your hands to help control the up and down movement, pushing your hands toward your feet to come up or overhead to go back.
