Good vitamins after recovering from accident?
I was in a really bad accident 8 months ago where I broke my arm completely by having a compound fracture with both bones broken in half and had surgery to put 2 metal plates and 12 screws in, had a fracture in my right leg, broke my cheek bone, and had 6 hair line fractures above my right eyebrow. I also had a significant amount of road rash/ skin loss to both my arms, my entire right leg and right half of my face.
What I’m wondering is if during my recovery process, are there any good vitamins I could take to help promote healthiness in my bone and skin growth and my immune system during the recovery time. Going threw all the physical therapy and doctors appointments are wearing me down and thought vitamins may help.
I am also an otherwise quite healthy and normal 17 year old girl. I am average weight and for the most part eat normal foods, nothing extremely bad or health nut wise. Any advise welcome and thanks in advance!
